Lately God's been pricking my conscience on both modesty and femininity. This is another pinprick. Right now I'm not quite sure if I want to thank you or cross my arms stubbornly (I'm kidding, of course--I'm quite grateful). My father has told me numerous times that if you dress to attract a man by being "sexy," then guess what kind of guy you're going to get? It's simple cause and effect. I've found Elizabeth Elliot's books to be great for cultivating an attitude of femininity. She's taught me that being a woman is not a state of capture, it's a calling.
