Each Monday, we share a project that relates to being a Christian woman and living out our Titus 2 roles in real life. For more information about this feature or to submit a project idea, click here.
This week’s project is:
to be intentional about the way we use our words. Words. Wow. This is an area of personal conviction that I have been working on greatly. In talking with other women, I have observed that this is a problem area for many.
How do we use our words? Do we use them to complain? To argue? To put down? Or do we use them to encourage? Build up? Sharing love?
This week, let’s use our words only for good. No complaining. No harsh tones. No negative, hurtful speech.
I know that this may be hard for some of you. Or maybe a little too big. If you feel like this challenge is too high, then focus on one particular area (complaining, harsh tones, etc…) and try to rid your speech of it this week!

Lord, I pray that this week we would intentionally work at controlling our tongue. Our words hold so much power, to build up, to tear down. Please, Lord, help us to use our tongue and our words only for good, only for building up and imparting life. Help us, Lord, to use our tongues to share gratitude, instead of grumbling. Help us Lord, to glorify you through our words this week. Amen.

Wow, this is an area I struggle with often! Thanks for issuing this challenge! My family will thank you
