My Prayer

Dear Lord,

This year, I pray that you would show me my “broken cisterns,” the places where I seek to have my thirst quenched apart from You. Help me to abandon them and to drink deeply from You, the fountain of living waters, and to understand more and more how satisfying and refreshing You truly are. (Jeremiah 2:13)

    Amen! I posted a blog post today titled "What is Ministry?" Ministry requires us to give when we don't always feel like giving or like our life is rosy enough to be giving – but it comes from our deep overflowing love for God. As you said, broken cisterns must be repaired and we must walk intimately with God in order to have something to give to others – here's the link:
