Sometimes our days can get away from us. Actually, many days that can happen, and before we know it the day is gone and we wonder why we haven’t accomplished what we wanted and we can’t even figure out what we did all day. Then we go to bed and lay there for hours worrying about all the things we didn’t get done that need to be done the next day.
There is a solution. The famous to-do list. At the beginning of each month I start a list. It includes all of the bills for that month and their due dates. It includes all of the projects that are carried over from the previous month. It includes shopping lists, important dates and events. It includes book ideas and blogging post ideas. That is my main list. Then under all of those sub-headings are sub-lists. That is my outline for the month. I add to it constantly and sometimes add scriptures that my children share each morning that I want to remember.
I use this main list as my outline for the month. When I need to go shopping I write a list from there. When I need to budget and pay bills, I go from there. When I need to remember to get something before a sale ends I go from my list. A fancy planner is not needed. You can use your windows calendar or even just notepad or a simple yellow pad. The point is to have it written down. Then you can check things off as you go. And you can sleep at night knowing you won’t forget anything.

I just posted about time management myself! I rely on list making to such a degree…I think I’d be lost without lists! Good post!

I would love to see an example of your list. This is an awesome idea. I get so lost in all I have to do each day, each week, each month. Could you upload a screenshot maybe?
I must have a list. My husband used to tease me, but, now he needs to make lists! lol
I would love to see your list.
We truly enjoyed reading your post. Thank you for the inspiring words.
Blessings,
