Guide Me and Direct Me

Dear Lord,

As usual, I’ve made lists of my New Years Resolutions, my thoughts, my goals, my hopes, and my dreams for this New Year You’ve graciously given to us again. As much as I feel these things on my list are good plans, and glorify You, I still recognize that You know better than I do, and humbly submit that You still have veto rights on all of the plans of my heart.

Father, as You have in the past, guide and direct me, throw a wrench in my plans if it’s Your will, as You’ve done in my life before, and keep my heart ever tender and yielded to Your perfect plans in my life (Jeremiah 29:11).
