God never said it was going to be easy, but he tells us to be strong! How do we become strong? By being in his word and following his commands!

But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it-he will be blessed in what he does." James 1:22-25
This verse is so, so encouraging to me. Thanks for posting it! I am learning to let God be your defender. It's been a really tough month for my husband and I. My husband is a senior pastor and we've noticed that the battle is so great!
God is so sweet to bless and encourage me through the toughest of times.

Deut 31:6-8 are my all-time favorite verses because I'm reminded of God's strength and faithfulness. I memorized this passage when I was a new believer, and God has used it to encourage me over the years. Thanks for reminding me of God's powerful words!
I'm so glad the Lord goes before me! Without his guidance I would never feel strong.
