Hardly the drudgery she originally feared it would be, Kimberly Eddy’s life at home has been one big adventure in mothering, wifeliness, and walking with the Lord. Kimberly has been Martin’s wife since 1992, and a joyful momma since 1993. She and Martin have five children ages 10-16, and have home schooled their children from birth. Raised in a nominally Catholic home, Kimberly rejected Christianity in her early teens, in favor of the occult and New Age teachings, and dove into the punk and alternative music and art scene. She majored in Art and Design at Northern Michigan University, and after graduation, Kimberly took off for Europe, having witnessed the fall of the Berlin Wall on TV. It was while backpacking around Eastern Europe, that the Lord found her. Kimberly bowed her head and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in Jan Huss Square in Prague, Czech Republic and has been serving Him since. Kimberly and her family live in Michigan, and enjoys spending time gardening, going for walks, cooking, baking, reading, doing amateur film making with her children, and creating works of art in a variety of formats. Kimberly’s love for art and writing has bore fruit with a daily blog, a nature journalling blog with her daughters, several books and ebooks, as well as articles published in magazines such as Above Rubies, Joyful Noise, SALT, and Focus on the Family’s Boundless.org webzine. Someday her cartoon strip on being a mom of many may even see the light of day. You can visit Kimberly at her main blog, www.joyfulmomma.org
